Last year, one of my good friends got married. They met in Asia, he is from South America and she is from Slovenia. They both agreed that distance doesn’t matter and organised a small wedding in Goriška brda, where they promised eternal love to each other. wedding photoshoot desertwedding photoshoot desert

Since she is also a photographer, she wanted to have special photos of the two of them and came to an idea to have a photoshoot in Morocco, where they went for their honeymoon. When she asked me to travel there and capture their love, I was more than happy to do it. I was never in Morocco before, so I combined work and pleasure and traveled there with four other friends. We rented a car and traveled most of the country, but in the end, we all agreed that Sahara was the most amazing part of our trip. wedding photoshoot desert

We met with T and P in Merzouga, from where we started our two day trip to the desert. We left the village in the afternoon, rode camels for about an hour and a half and finally arrived to our camp in the middle of nowhere. The tents were already waiting for us and we were more than happy to get off the camels, because our asses were in so much pain. They call it “the camel muscle”, we called it pure pain :). I was extremely nervous when we were riding the camels, because the light was just perfect for our photoshoot, but we couldnt start before we all arrived to the tents. When we finally arrived, we were left with the last 15 minutes of sun, so you can imagine how quickly we had to make as much photos as possible. Luckily, T & P are naturals in front of a camera, so I didnt have to pose them much.

Spending a night in the desert is amazing. Apart from freezing all night, we had so much fun singing, playing the drums and talking to the Morrocans. The next morning, we got up really early to see the sunrise and then went back to the village, because the camels had to eat and drink. wedding photoshoot desert

T and P, big thanks to you guys for such an amazing experience I will never forget. Lets do this again sometime, some other place in the world, what do you say :)? wedding photoshoot desert wedding photoshoot desert wedding photoshoot desert wedding photoshoot desert wedding photoshoot desert wedding photoshoot desert wedding photoshoot desert wedding photoshoot desert wedding photoshoot desert
