Holly and John
This was our second wedding at this venue. It should be our fourth, but Corona made some other plans.
Casa Bruciata is located in the Umbrian countryside, just on the Tuscan border. Thanks to its privileged hilltop, south-facing position, the view is truly amazing with the green, picture-postcard valley of endless rolling hills ahead.
When Holly first sent me an email, mentioning they love cats, I instantly knew this is a wedding we want to photograph. Holly and John came to the wedding from Switzerland and their guests were mostly from the UK.
John and Holly first saw each other at the ceremony and it was such a lovely, emotional moment. One of the musicians was playing the harp and a lot of the guests had tears in their eyes.
I just love this moment between the bride and her mom.
I usually say photos don’t need captions, but these three do! A few of the invited guests couldn’t come to the wedding due to Coronavirus restrictions, so they surprised Holly and John with real size photos at their venue. It was fun, emotional and also a little creepy :).
Can you see who is real and who isn’t?
Ok, enough Coronavirus talk, let’s continue with Italian food.
