Wedding in Italy, Trenuta di Casa Bruciata, Umbria,
We were looking forward to this wedding in Italy all spring, summer and September and were super excited when October finally came. We packed our bags, drove for 7 hours and came straight to the wedding venue one day before the wedding to meet with the bride, groom and the wedding planner Luigi. They were all very nice and relaxed and we instantly fell in love with the venue.
Trenuta di Casa Bruciata is in the Umbrian countryside, located on the Tuscan border. Thanks to its privileged hilltop, south-facing position, the view is truly amazing with the green, picture-postcard valley of endless rolling hills ahead.
On the day of the wedding, we started with photographing the wedding details. We were amazed by the talented florist Roberta Turco and a beautiful dress by Unbridaled.
Rotana and Emmet gave each other a wedding gift before the first look and they were both very special. She gave him cufflinks, engraved with their last names and he gave her a bracelet with olive branch, since their ceremony location was surrounded by olive trees.
These three girls were the bridesmaids and they made sure the bride was having fun all day long. I’ve never seen so much laughter at a wedding :).
Rotana lives on a different continent than her mom, so they don’t really see each other often. This fact made this moment even more special. And the light that came from the door at the moment her mom helped her with the veil. I just love it.
Their first look happened in a small town, a few minutes away from the venue. They were really happy to see each other before the ceremony and we also took some time for their portraits.
They chose this location for the ceremony and I think we can all agree it is a perfect one. Just look at this view.
People came to this wedding from all over the world and it was very nice to watch how happy everybody was.
Yellow wasn’t the dress code, I swear :).
Loved this infinity pool so much, we came here twice for the photos :). wedding in italy
At this one time, during dinner, they came to me and asked me to take photos of the pyramid. I had no idea what they had in mind and when I saw them climbing one on another, I realized it was not a joke. They really made a pyramid! Just imagine how much fun this was :).
We finished photographing with some night shots at the infinity pool. I think this was just a perfect ending to a perfect day. Rotana and Emmet, I wish you all the best.
